Privacy policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Japan Ukraine Bridge (“JUB”, “we”) collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Japan Ukraine Bridge is a private team based in Osaka, Japan. Our company is currently being registered in Japan; this policy will be updated with the registered company details once registration is complete. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].

What we collect

  • What you send us. When you use the contact form, email us, call or message us, we receive the details you choose to share: usually your name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
  • Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project with you.
  • To carry out work you ask us to do, including introductions to potential partners — only with your agreement.
  • To keep the website running and secure.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of trusted services to run this website and our communication:

  • a website hosting provider;
  • a form service that delivers contact-form messages to our inbox;
  • our email provider;
  • Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces used on this site (your browser connects to Google's servers to download them).

Some of these providers are located outside Japan, including in the United States. They process data only to provide their service. We will share your information with a potential business partner only when you have agreed to the introduction. We may also disclose information when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of our cooperation and any period required by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is a core principle of our work. We do not name our clients or describe their projects in a way that would identify them, and we treat the business information you share with the same care.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to stop using it or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information or the EU General Data Protection Regulation. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will reply within a reasonable time.
